Born and raised in Richmond, BC, I lived in Vancouver from 1993-2009, when I moved "down highway 99" with my wife and two children to the beautiful South Surrey / White Rock area and joined RE/MAX Colonial Pacific Realty.
I have enjoyed previous success in local television and radio newsrooms where, as a broadcast journalist, I was fortunate to interview a wide array of politicians, athletes and other newsmakers, while delivering my on-air message within a competitive, fast-paced, deadline driven work environment.
This led to a high-profile position as Media Relations Assistant with the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Bid Corporation. Responsible for writing speeches, responding to media and public inquiries, and coordinating key press events, I was part of the team that helped earn Vancouver the right to host the Olympic Winter Games. Of course, as a local, I couldn't have been more proud to welcome the world, and witness the uniquely Canadian spirit which made those Games so epic!
Other jobs include working as a publicist for a Mixed Martial Arts Reality TV Series and as Corporate Communications Officer for the B.C. Lottery Corporation, where I got to hand out HUGE cheques to lucky lotto winners!
All the while, as both a buyer and seller, I have experienced the meteoric growth in our local real estate market first hand. As any local will tell you, it has been crazy at times!
However, as a realtor, this familiar "front row seat" perspective has allowed me to track and interpret trends to better understand today's challenging market. This ability, along with my in-depth knowledge of the Lower Mainland in general and Fraser Valley in particular, gives me a critical advantage when negotiating on behalf of my clients.
For a greater probability of success you need a friendly, dedicated professional who can guide you through the process and be counted on to protect your investment. Whether you are interested in buying or selling property, I look forward to helping you make the right move!
